Located in Orange County, California, Academics Who Tutor was started by two college professors who noticed a gap in additional education resources for college students.
Danielle Shorr, MFA
Danielle is a graduate of Chapman University’s Master’s of Fine Arts in creative writing program, where she also attended undergrad. Now a professor of rhetoric, disability studies and creative writing, Danielle brings to the table a vast knowledge of Chapman University and has tutored for many courses including but not limited to Human Nutrition, Psychology 101, Public Speaking, Integrated Education courses, and more.
Andrew Beckner, MFA
Also a graduate of Chapman University’s Master’s of Fine Arts in creative writing program and the recipient of the prestigious John Fowles graduate fellowship, Andrew teaches at Chapman University, Santiago Canyon College, Santa Ana College, and is able to offer assistance in a wide variety of course topics and disciplines.
